Drink and Draw Sacramento!


6-8-09: We will be returning to "Fox & Goose" this Month! It happens to have the best table space so far, and no lighting complaints. Hope to see you all there! Side News: We have been asked to put on a 2nd Saturday Show this coming July, we would like all you to come and join us for this event. More news on this coming soon! 5-23-09: Special Thanks to "Utrecht" Sacramento for providing samples and prizes for our "Sketch-Off Challenges"! (Support Utrecht by visiting there store link above and on our links page) Big Thanks to all of you who came through to our "Fox & Goose" meet up. Also a big thanks for Fox & Goose for putting up with us. Also we just added "Facebook" to our community tools, please add us if you got one. (link below) Our next meeting will take place on June 18th, we will let you know where. 3-25-09: Thanks to everyone that showed up at our last meet up, hope to see you next time around! Our next two meet up locations are up and scheduled. We are also planning a DND meeting in San Jose on the 16th during "Super-Con", more info coming soon. 3-10-09: The Next DND meet up is next thursday @ De Veres in honor of st. patty's day, all info can be found under our schedule. Our next meet up will be at "R-15" on the 19th of February, so mark your calendars and be sure to join us for another round. On a side note we are planning an Invasion in SF during this years "Wonder-Con". It will be Saturday the 28th at a location TBA. So look out for more info on that as we get closer. Cheers, Nu 12-15-08: We just created a "Google Group" for DnD Sac. This is a good way to be further connected to our growing Sacramento Social Group. We will be able to send news and updates via email through "Google Groups". So be sure to check it out and click the "join this group" on the right side bar or Subscribe by entering you email in the lower right corner. Note: You may have to register to google to join the group, Sorry but is all for a good cause. ;) 12-2-08: Sorry for the update delay. We hope everyone had a great T-day. Now down to business, our next meeting will take place on Thursday the 11th at "Streets of London" at 8 pm. We enjoyed Streets so much that we have decided to make Streets our base of operations, but we do want to change it up from time to time. January's meeting will be on the 15th and a poll will be added to our myspace page in regards to locations ideas. 11-14-08: Hi, all. The 1st Drink and Draw Sacramento was last night and it was a blast! It was held at Streets of London Downtown and we barely had room to fit all the people who showed up. There were easily 30 people who came down to have a drink and put pen to paper. We saw some familiar faces and met a lot of incredible artists. Thank you to everyone who came down and we are already counting down the days to the next one. If you came down and drew we would really appreciate a scanned copy of the art you did at the event so we can post them, send all pics to our email below. Thanks for visiting the OFFICIAL "Drink and Draw" Sacramento Chapter's website. We have been given the green light by the original "Drink and Draw" creators and we are getting our website and web presence solidified as we speak. The event will happen once a month at a local bar, pup, ale house, saloon, tavern or whatever joint we decide upon. The point will be to bring the creative community of Sacramento together and have a few pints at the same time. Spread the word of the coming storm and I hope to see you all there at the first shindig. Keep checking back in the next couple weeks for all the info.
